Arrival - by Sophie M.
The flight to Frankfurt I sat by Caitlin who was very funny. We went to the old city of Frankfurt and saw a beautiful opera house and museum. We are now as a group sitting waiting for rooms, learning some Arabic, and having some good bonding time. I super exited to be here!
About the Committee for Youth Exchange and Mission of the Diocese of Olympia
The Committee for Youth Exchange and Mission is a new program of the Youth and Young Adult Ministries of the Diocese of Olympia. The 2010 Pilgrimage will be the first major project of this committee, though we hope to expand our offerings to provide youth with a variety of opportunities to live out their faith through good works - in the US and abroad- and to build relationships with young people in other cultures.
Our pilgrims will want to share their experiences with others in the Diocese of Olympia. Would you consider inviting a small group of them to your parish to talk with your youth or adults? If you are interested, please e-mail JR Lander at jameslander@gmail.com and he will ask the group who might be available.
